“I’m Okay Being Forgotten” - pleaselevitate

I’m a sucker for female-fronted shoegaze. Some can be a bit predictable or uninspiring, but when a track comes along like pleaselevitate’s “I’m Okay Being Forgotten,” it really sticks out. It has a churning rhythm guitar that’s a little bit ‘80s, a hazy, dreamy, reverb-soaked lead vocal, a HUGE fuzzy chorus, and a little bit of Cure-esque guitar flange (ala “The Forest”). Very nice stuff!
